Wild Black Tiger Betta for Sale Betta patoti the mouthbrooding labyrinth fish


Betta patoti Betta patoti are known as the Black Tiger Betta from the Mangar River. This species is of the unimaculata complex and is closely related to the revered Betta macrostoma. Male B. patoti have a deep, rusty red body marked over the ventral side of the tail with vertical burgundy to black stripes. They feature iridescent green coloration over the tops of their heads and lower lip and bright, cherry red markings from the bottom of the eye to the corner of the mouth, as well as around the fish's nostrils. Each of their fins are rimmed in blue, particularly the filamentous ventral fins present in both genders. Females are just as striking as the males, simply lacking the vertical barring along their tail. Zebra Betta fish are larger than most Betta reaching a maximum length of four inches and is a member of the Betta unimaculata complex.
