Wardley Betta Fish Food made by Hartz Mountain Corporation is recalling their Fish Food because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria.
While there are no reports or illness in people or pet fish, people handling this food could contract a Salmonella infection.

As a result of their routine sampling Hartz has confirmed the presence of Salmonella in the specified lot which was shipped nationwide from May 13, 2013 to June 4, 2013. Sold in containers of 1.2 ounce sizes, some 8,112 products were shipped with this UPC number 0-43324-01648, and they have been isolated to lot code PP06331 which is located at the bottom of the package.
