The 1.5-gallon tank is made of durable, see-through plastic and comes with everything but the fish. This aquarium set is an excellent way to introduce young children to the joys and duties of pet ownership in a way that is both engaging and educational. A Betta, some Shrimp, or a few tiny schools of Guppies, Tetras, or other nano freshwater fish would all fit comfortably in this tank. Well-constructed, sturdy, and long-lasting: Instead of using breakable glass, this tank is composed of scratch-resistant plastic. We opted for plastic instead of glass because miscellaneous shards would be less likely to cause injury in the event of an accident. Among the Included Items are: It comes with a 1.5-gallon tank, a Cascade 170 fully submersible internal aquarium filter, a fully colored SpongeBob background and stickers, and a corrugated Krusty Krab sign for above the tank's cover (fish not included). This aquarium set is tiny enough to fit on a desk or a counter, measuring 8.5" (W) by 6" (D) by 9.5" (H). You don't have to worry about whether or not there will be enough room for your fish, unlike with other aquariums. It's a good fit!
